Visit Rimini and the surrounding area

Once you’re here in our  hotel in Rimini Miramare, you will have the possibility of calmly enjoying your sunny days on the beach, but you can just as easily enrich your experience by customizing your stay with various activities.

There are so many ideas you can draw inspiration from!

Famous for its Pink Night – with fireworks lighting up the whole Romagna coast every summer on the first Friday of July – the Riviera probably offers the largest number of events and parties in Italy. Between June and September, there is basically something worth doing every week: choose between typical food stands, concerts, live shows, outdoor cinemas and much more! Once you get to our hotel, we can provide you with detailed updates on all the various appointments on the calendar!

If you love staying fit even when you’re on holiday, you will certainly find an opportunity to do so with many outdoor activities. You can try kite surfing at the beach, or sign up for a padel course, a new up-and-coming sport that is garnering huge success in the Romagna area. Not to mention the cycling trails that can be found all around the Rimini province.

Theme Parks

There are so many of these in the Romagna area that it is often defined as the “the Park Riviera”. Based on your preferences, you will certainly find the right idea to have fun with your kids. You could visit the nearby Fiabilandia or the unmissable Riccione Aquafan, located nearby the more educationally-oriented Oltremare Park.
Plus, of course, Mirabilandia, the largest and best known park in the Romagna area, near Lido di Classe.
We can also offer special tickets for many of these parks, a great way to save the time you would otherwise waste in line at the ticket booths!

We are located very close to Rimini Terme, a place where you can relax, have fun and re-discover well-being. The thermal centre offers Thermal baths & Physiotherapy, Wellness & SPA services, Prevention & Health treatments, and in summertime also hosts events and transforms into a sports/games centre with its Blue Beach bathing establishment.

History and culture

Follow the city trails and discover the remains of Roman Rimini: above all the Bridge of Tiberius and the Arch of Augustus, authentic symbols of the city.
In the San Giuliano neighbourhood, Federico Fellini’s favourite, you will have the opportunity to admire many mural paintings that homage his memory.

The immediate surroundings of the city are peppered with many medieval towns – once the scene of clashes between the various duchies of the region – where you can visit castles immersed in charm and legends, such as those of Gradara (Paolo and Francesca), San Leo (Cagliostro) or Montebello di Torriana (the ghost of Azzurrina).

Your next holiday in the Romagna area may also be the perfect occasion for buying some lovely gifts. We are located near San Marino which, on top of being a marvellous medieval town, also enjoys a specific tax-free status, given that it is an independent state. This will allow you to go shopping and purchase even prestigious brand products at bargain prices!
